REAL WEDDING: JEN AND SETH'S JAZZ WEDDING IN THE FRENCH QUARTER

Seth and Jen's wedding was in the classic and stunning city of New Orleans.  Can you think of a more perfect place to get married?  The ceremony took place in the heart of the French quarter where all the fun happens and was photographed by Brett of Siegal Thurston Photography.  The ceremony and reception was at the historical Beauregard-Keyes House, a tour de force of southern architecture.  Seth and Jen met in New Orleans back in their college days before moving to San Diego.  When it came time to choose a place to tie the knot it was a no-brainer: New Orleans won out.  This is also a wedding after my heart in the sense that Seth and Jen trusted their instincts enough to improvise.  They did their own flowers simply by picking them up from a flower shop en route.  In true New Orleans style they hired the Coolbone Jazz Band to play the wedding, Second Line and reception.  The venue was perfect for this couple who has been together nine years before getting married; it was the culmination of time well spent getting to know one another and being a mature couple who really knew what they wanted.  Says Brett who photographed them, "It was a beautiful day in a fabulous setting and I was so honored to have been chosen to be part of it all . . . ."
