REAL WEDDING: HEATHER AND RYAN'S WOODSTOCK WEDDING . . .

One of the things I most miss about New York is the bucolic countryside.  Say what?  That's right, if you steam on up the Hudson a bit, New York has some of the greenest and most beautiful landscape anywhere,  That's why Heather and Ryan's wedding in Woodstock really wowed me.  It was rustic in every sense but still elegant with lots personal touches.  Here are a few words from Heather about the DIY details . . . . " We used little wood pieces painted black and wrote #s on them with chalk. We tied the #'s using twine and old fashioned clothes pins. We bought a fuji mini Polaroid camera and set up a photo area for friends. Using an old window we mad a collage of old photo's of us throughout the years. Mainly high school and college.  We picked old frames and had family wedding photos also displayed.  Local Honey from West Shokan was used for take home gift and table assignments. The deer antlers were bought at a local yard sale, wooden frames at  a local flea market and strung with twine for a photo booth. Construction paper mustache, lips, glasses were from Etsy.   Vintage tins, vases, and vintage table runners were all bought and collected locally and through family VENDORS: invites were by Paper Divas, Keegan Ale Local Brews From the Hudson Valley.  Minted Vodka cocktail with mint grown from my Mom Jill's Gaerden Cupcakes -made with love by dear friend Lyndell Falconer Caterers . . ."
