REAL WEDDING: LAURA AND KEVIN

I think you'll be as impressed as I was with the many details of Laura and Kevin's rainy day wedding.  From the bright yellow flowers to the vintage Caddy that lent such a retro feel to the event, the setting was on the water in Northern Michigan with incredible views of lake and fall colors. A detail I particularly love were pillows and blankets set by a fireplace to keep guests warm.  The blankets were handmade by Kevin's grand-mom and pillows done up by Laura's mom and friend. Shot by the talented duo of Dan and Melissa Wedding Photographers, here's what Melissa had to say: "Laura and Kevin were an amazing couple. We had a great time sharing in this special day with them. Laura knows what she wants and makes it happen. It was a cold, windy and rainy day but that didn't stop this outdoor wedding from being perfect. All the guests got good use out of their umbrellas waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle.  And just as she did the sun peaked from behind the clouds adding the perfect touch to this beautiful wedding. They were all smiles as they said their vows beneath a shared umbrella, light sprinkles and gorgeous sun rays streaking between partly cloudy skies. Let's not forget about Papa and his vintage 1940s Cadillac which caught the eyes of many guests and passersby. Of course nothing was a stunning to look at then the blushing bride."
