When this wedding came through my inbox I was particularly intrigued by the story behind the dress.  Emily married Paul in her late mother's wedding dress, a stunning and classic A-line with the bodice covered in Venise laces.  This is another wedding by one of my fave photographer duos, Dan and Melissa from Michigan.  The backdrops of their weddings against bay and lake are always so picturesque.  Said Melissa about photographing the wedding: "Paul and Emily, both doctors, were wed on a raining day in June. The day was perfect with two reveals (first looks), one being between the bride and her father as she wore her late mothers wedding dress and the next between the bride and the groom to be. Two very special and emotional moments. Later at the reception the bride changed into a gorgeous short wedding dress so she could dance the night away. Ice cream sundaes were the dessert of choice and very fitting to their style."
